So that was pretty unique. Kind of cardboard cutout/superimposed photos of the actors crudely animated? I noted lots of stabbing but with a positive vibe. Very short film, but hey it didn't overstay its welcome.

Story: 1.5/5
Technical: 3/5
Elements: 3/5
Overall: 2/5

Film was let down due to editing on a low brightness / contrast monitor. All the outside the spotlight areas looked inky black.

On a newish TV, the outside areas are clearly seen, revealing a lot of abruptly cut off jpgs and things thought to be hidden (invisible??)

In summary, best viewed on a cheap cellphone, as the editor intended.

Shen - I think this might be one of the worst 48Hour films I've ever seen and I truly mean this as a compliment hahhahahahah.
Incidentally appearing towards the end of the heats, this is exactly the kind of baffling mind-boggling fever dream that really enhances the insane maddening nature of the competition.
I'm left with so many questions - what's actually happening? who are these people? How long did it actually take you to make this?

A couple years ago I reviewed your film and mentioned I wanted to see you get back to embracing the Z-Grade nature of your 2017 finalist, a film which is no more technically impressive than this one, but embraced that amateur nature in all the best ways. Since then it seems like you've struggled to get back to that place, and I can't say you're any closer with this one ahhaah. But keep orbiting, and keep getting weirder because what you lack in technical prowess, you make up for in absurdity, you've just gotta tip those scales once again.

Things you got right: It's undeniably a creator's vision, it looks like you had a lot of fun
Things to work on for next time: Finding the balance between bad and so-bad-it's-good.

This film looks like it took some time to make! I thought it was fun and just the perfect length. The faces and dance were really funny. Enjoyable to watch. I liked the way you used the spotlight to achieve ultra. The choice of song was absurdly comical, as well.

It's pretty hard not to like this and given it's 90 second run-time it's easily rewatchable. Madness really but the happy and contented face on the lead just means you keep on smiling throughout.

What the heck did I just watch?! LOL

Nice short film - with a tinge of dark, a weird story, a scary character and a song that was clearly forced on them lol - great effort team

Tech wise - I applaud the effort and got what your team was trying to achieve. I wish I had more than 90sec to critique the film.

I was confused where the story was going. Didn't understand half of the shots, but probably should watch it back so I could understand it more - but meh.

Great work!

A romp through the mind of a genius.
Seriously though Shen I giggled alot.

Thanks for the new ring tone ^_^ appreciate it

This is the one and only 48Hrs film that should be shown to any butchers who were after an explanation as to why they suddenly had all these random people coming in to buy cow(?) hearts during that weekend. Sure, they'd only be even more confused, but when it comes to fun confusion, this nigh-inscrutable short overdelivers.
