Caretaker

A really professional short that wasn't comedy based (as are most in the 48s). Only thing I could fault was that I wasn't sure why she mixed up the old man with her sons death. Loved the scary moments (they actually made me jump) and the synching of her words whilst he speaks. So many possible paths to take from where the film finished but I just wish I knew which one it was (i.e. she killed her son and tried to do the same to the old man or he was responsible for killing her son and was controlling her somehow, etc...)

Subject Matter

I didn't quite get this film. Agree with others, the parking scenes made me chortle. Also the putting on of helmets to take the elevator made me laugh too. Loved the keyboard prop. Didn't quite understand the story though and not sure if that's because maybe I missed some key parts due to sound/lighting issues.

The Hanged Man

Never scared me once, although had me curious as to what was happening. Really enjoyed the twist at the end which felt like a decent enough payoff for the rest of the film.

Victimology

Loved the little twist at the end, where the lead gets over his issues by embracing them, to get revenge against those who caused them.

Singularity

This film didn't make too much sense to me. I loved the parts where the cyborg is running upstairs though.

FUSION

Loved the film. Naturally, I'm biased. But will have to agree with others regarding whether the genre fit was as accurate as it needed to be. Go team go!!
