Three's A Crowd

After forgetting to send most of the invites out, a party of just three gets pretty awkward when one of the guys has a severe dislike for the other male guest. This was small scale showing the massive issues that can be caused by bottling things up and failing to communicate.

Seemingly all the right ingredients are there; a few classic board games and a nice spread of food, but unfortunately a non-drinker in the mix just makes the craft beer lover's blood boil.

What I found most appealing here was the camerawork and pacing of the film. The tight work and some nice low angles presented heightened emotions and frustrations boiling over at times. Production design was also clean and involving, yet decorated to the point of the location being a particular highlight. Very well done compared to 90% of teams that shoot at their house or apartment.

I wasn't particularly sold on the script, as it felt pretty clearcut to me who the real dickhead was in the film fairly early on. But I did have some chortles at the overly dramatic humour.
