Crawlspace

Really enjoyed this film, some great little jokes aswel. Was that an evil dead reference? Loved the intro.

The Secret in His Eye

not quite sure what was going on, it confused me a bit, some good characters, maybe this plot was a bit ambitious for a 48hour film, i think it needed more time to establish what was going on.

Imaginary Friends

i loved the concept, and there was some good acting. i think the production values let it down ultimately but some nice gags.

Dead Last

this was my favorite of the heat, and most entertaining. i thought the decision to go with a B-Movie trailer was a great idea, and was executed nicely. had me quoting the movie title voice over in my head. "DEAD LAST"

Forked

the ending was forked... it was a shame because you built it up really well, and then it just drops off at the end. otherwise, very nice camera work, and edited really well, dialogue was a little OTT, i have a feeling your actor has a theater background.

Pallo

What can I say, im a fan of squint eastwoods dark twisted humor, how you managed to portray so much sexual tension between an animated orange and a scientist, beats me, but you nailed it. Its a shame you didnt make the deadline.

Organic Matter

As soon as I saw a bunch of hippies turn up at a graveyard with a cardboard casket on their shoulders, i knew i was going to like this film. It had some great moments, and some hilarity when the funeral proceeded. Great work guys, one of the highlights of the heat.

Hereafter

Great cinematography, colour grade was on point which helped set the tone (as with the score) and some nice acting. The only problem i have, was I didnt understand the story, and it kinda ended abruptly. Great team intro, but probably wasnt a good lead into your film.

Thunderbread

What can I say. This was hectic from begining to end, I have no idea what was going on, and you got the character name wrong, but i couldnt help losing my shit every time that guy with the dark shades delivered his lines. All in all, good set design and costumes, but the story is probably the result of too many people involved in the writing, or too much drinking on the friday night.

Computer Crimes

i loved it. some funny dialog and visual gags, the ending was a bit dark.
