The Lake
Shame this was disqualified, easily one of the best films from the heat. Cinematography was really good, Especially the shot where the hand emerges from the bath. Even in the low lighting it looked great which added to the eeriness of the situation. Hopefully this team makes it in on time next year!
Today's the Day!
A Very good effort for the Musical film. Story worked well and the use of the live band in the scenes really helped to enhance the overall quality of the songs and the film.
Down To The Wire
Competently filmed, Great use of locations around Auckland, that must have taken some time and preparation, it paid off and looked really nice. Let down a bit by the extended bar scene and minor discrepancies in the story. But otherwise a good effort!
Lawn People
Bizarre but well executed film. Lesbianism, Mysticism and Hippies! covered some great B-grade ground and the creepy landlord definitely made for some entertaining scenes.
