Oh Crap

You guys smashed it! What a great short film. The cinematography, directing and acting all came through right from the opening scene. Funny (haha) with a little cringe and all the little twists in dialogue and action that kept me watching to see what would happen. So good!

After Words

Cool film, used the genre so well. Love how you had the ghost appear and disappear behind the protagonist. Well paced and structured with an ending that paid off. Well done.

Sit Tight

It’s unfortunate that films like this get underrated by judges and city managers when they are clearly (to all the other filmmakers) brilliant. This somehow happens every year! and especially in the regions… how it can be managed better? not sure. but team Acedia, as you can see from the comments you guys made a fantastic film, its a shame the comp didn’t support you better.

Sit Tight

A rare gem in this competition! Well written story, great acting and solid camera work. Easily my favourite in the Bay! Well done.

Fried Chicken

I agree with Joel… How is this not on the finals?
An interesting and thought provoking story that has many plot details that keep you thinking. Scripted well with both funny and serious moments. This is in my top 5 from BOP.

Sacrifarce

Always look forward to seeing what GLFS make over the 48 weekend! and this is another brilliant short film.
Excellent production design, lots of effort put into creative editing and lighting your scenes. There is a cohesive and polished feeling from start to finish.
Only part I felt needed refinement was the script which would have given us more cleaner connections to the characters. Top 3 from BOP.

The GAYtkeeper

What a great film! Stylised with strong imagery and kept a basic storyline that made a point without labouring it. Loved the editing, the pace was solid and kept me intrigued by the unfolding situation.
Didn’t quite nail the ‘Musical’ genre but a great film nonetheless.
