I would have thought they should be here already...but anyway.

Cockup Productions very deservedly won, with 'The Specialist' (the pretzel movie).
Better Than Mike came second with their Spuddy Buddy movie.

Which film/team are you from? Or if you tell me the category you're interested in I could see if I can dredge up the winner from my vague memories :-)

Definitely some standouts.
- The winner (Cockup productions) was great.
- My Box is on Fire were in again with another crazy/awesome animation, which took out a few awards this year.
- Elysium Exit did another technically excellent but bizarre film (well worth a watch)
- Pongakawa Film and Media Club were my pick of the school teams (again), with a Science Gone Mad entry involving genetically modified teddy bears. Yes, you read that right.
- And of course, there was Bad George (my team) which took out a grand total of one minor award (so possibly wasn't as great as we thought it was!) ;-)

Congrats Cockup Productions, brilliantly hilarious film and well deserved win. The places you took us were excellent and quite a change up from your usual Waikato films. Your match cut was perfect for the climax.

Special mention to Bad George, I feel for you guys. I had you picked for first or runner up. A great laugh, great script, you absolutely nailed your genre.

We (Elysium Exit) are stoked with our awards, fingers crossed for the grand finals!
