Awesome storyline, kept your attention throughout the film, very creative use of the prop. Camera work and editing was really good and the acting was too.

saved by a fantastic ending, it otherwise felt a little plodding. acting was not bad if a bit melodramatic. about in the middle of the heat i think.

Started quite slow and formulaic but gathered to a really nice pace and some good photography. The twist was obvious once we got into the woods but not telegraphed up to that point so was still a good end. Overall a real solid movie and a highlight of the heat for me.

A cop witnesses his family being kidnapped. He too is taken and given 48HRS (?) to save his family by providing the perpetrators with information. Quite a well-paced story this one. A bit of a slow-burner of a beginning but the action sped up as the climax approached. Technically very sound and tthe gamer-style point-of-view shot was one of the best of the night. I think you nailed the genre really well and the acting was, for the most-part, believeable. I had early fears that the casting seemed a bit young but it didn't become a factor at all! I was let down a little by the ending which was pretty obvious from the opening scenes but again, typical of the Crime genre. This film was well-received by the audience so great job!

After reading the other reviews im not sure what they mean by slow start - aside from having guns blazing from the word go I thought the action was consistant - kid napping at start, pov shot and then forest ending... full of action! But i think the point is that this wasnt the 'action' genre... it was 'crime' so it doesnt have to be all action. I liked the idea of cyber crime rather than the standard 'murder' with gun shots the whole way through.. The use of the prop wa awesome and im suprised more people didnt think o fthat idea The actors were quite young and I too thought that would ruin it but they did welll. Some shots were iffy but overall a great short film with a great cliffhanger. Just one question... who shot who?!!!

I think this film is one to be proud of. It held a great storyline the whole way through - I was never confused but I was always on the edge of my seat. P.O.V shot was done so well and fit perfectly - even if the P.O.V shot wasn't a requirement it still needed to be there and that's what using the shot is about... making it seem like it was meant to be there. Twist and ending was awesome and best prop use I saw all night. To say the actors were too young is irrelevant because I don't feel that should be a focus - they acted well and that's what matters. The music was very effective and made it quite trilling and. Others music was patchy and not levelled well. Hacker's music was well placed, well structured and well layered. My favourite from this heat!

Super cool scene with the abductions. Love the close up eye shot. Very nicely done. Kind of hard to hear what the baddie on the phone is saying. Great music choice during the tense "hurry up" scene. Nice work in single user moder/Terminal. Legit "hacking", which gets major points from me. Nice crane shot when the car is coming into the forest. Cool color grading at that point. Nice trigger discipline with the gun. Cool crane shot at the end, though unsure about how it ended...

A good solid crime story, great action and convincing acting kept me on the edge of my seat. The inclusion of the prop was very creative and well done. The camera shots used were very professional, especially the crane shots and the POV shot was very effective and suited the scene perfectly. The film was well edited with good pace and great colour correction. Overall I think this was a very strong film and a favourite of this heat.
