Anyone is brave to work with "Children or Animals". The child actors (including the infant) played their parts perfectly! Even though Mum was unconscious for most of the film, she carried her insomniac scene really well. I think that everyone was relieved that Botham Spies gave us a sneak peak as to how "the driving" was pulled off... Very original, loved this film.

This film was awesome! The kids that acted in this were brilliant, the mother was great and the dodgy driving scenes and the pedestrian were fantastic. A really strong film to kick this heat off and was my second favourite of the night. Well edited, well filmed and well acted. I was a little bit lost as to why the kids needed the plan but I still thoroughly enjoyed this film. Brilliant.

This was a brave film (working with kids!!!)... Not only was the story clever and funny, the overall sound and look of the film was the best on the night. Congrats!

'I Think We Might Have To Do Something' is an impressive short with beautiful cinematography and great production values. It was also well directed and benefited from natural acting. Overall, this is a fun and entertaining short. An original take on the crime movie!

The story was so relatable to but full of genuine fun and surprise, intrigue and just great moments. Beautiful transitions...Smooth sound... Even levels. It was gorgeous to watch.

I was SO IMPRESSED by this film. Definitely a stand out in this heat. Shot well, subtle and true performances, great direction of the kids (How did you do it?!) This concept is such an original take on the crime movie. This film stands on it's own outside of the competition which is always a good sign. Looking forward to seeing this film in the city finals. Or maybe even the Grand Finals. Definitely one to look out for.

This is absolutely the standout selection from this heat. Not only a fun, funny watch, with some outstanding comic timing, but a genuinely beautiful little film with well crafted writing, real theme, and some of the best child-acting I've ever seen in a short film, let alone a 48hrs joint. Subtle, compelling and absolutely delightful. Brilliant job! NOTE: Zopiclone is a little blue pill. Not a white tablet. Shameful attention to medical details.

This was a fantastic film with a brilliant cast, the kids were absolute stars. My only complaint was the ending. I felt the film was building up to something a lot bigger than what we were given, and so was a bit disappointing.

How did this team pull off creating such a fun movie - and with kids and a baby!!! We all know that this 48 process is tough for adults, but to add kids to the mix must be even harder. But the actors were brilliant, even the baby. LOVED IT!! It was my number two pick, but in hindsight, I should have chosen it as my number 1

Nice one Alan !!

This might be the best 48hour film I've ever seen! The performances are GREAT! The film looks beautiful. And the story is well told throughout. Good work Botham Spies!! PS....you guys are insane for deciding to work with two kids and a baby for the 48hour film comp!!

I was engaged and entertained by this one's story, the kids and their plan were totally adorable. The whole production looked really well done, and I thought the required elements were well worked in.

Told a story, great pace and exciting performances all round, especially the kids. Great driving skills and enjoyed seeing at the end how this was done. Good to see a crime film without the gratuitous blood and guts normall a standard with these things. Well done crew a shining star on this one
