Always hard to pull off serious film, esp in this 3rd heat. Great use of the 'film trailer' style take on the film, perhaps the only fault of this means its a little harder to connect with the characters. Well shot and edited too. For a first time effort at the comp its top stuff. Love to see these guys come through to the final as well.

A nice sexy intro is followed by a film trailer which is the film. What happens? Not really sure but I think it's a vigilante story. Nicely presented in black and white. Well shot and edited. At points the dialogue is hard to understand but a good crack at making a trailer. I think that's this film's downfall though. A trailer should make me want to see the whole film, which I don't as the story for me wasn't clear or engaging enough. I sort of wonder why you didn't make the whole film?! Winner of Audience Favourite for this heat.

A short and sharp film, surprisingly choosing to tackle the bully issue in a serious manner. Beautifully shot with a simple soundtrack and interesting double use of 'the line'. The intro was smokin' hot and it was great to see a female director make such a strong piece of work.

Blew away the competition in this heat. Beautifully edited, great care taken with lighting and sound, and awesome original guitar on the soundtrack too. An all-girl team, and a very good-looking one at that. The saucy intro was just as memorable as the film!! Take them to the final!!!

What an incredible film. Excellent cinematography combined with a great soundtrack! Top class editing and well directed! Enjoyed the sexy introduction of the team! Great acting from the two lead actresses!! Well done to the all girl team! Especially enjoyed the tag line!! Thumbs up to the director!!

This was presented as a trailer for a non-existent crime film. A schoolgirl, Agatha, is bullied as a kid by Bobby Young and her cronies, but wreaks her revenge with a jolly good stabbing. She goes on the run, and the media debates her vigilante justice. And, er, that's sort of it. This film won heat audience favourite, so it's entirely possible I don't know what I'm talking about, but with that wussy disclaimer out of the way, I personally kind of failed to see what all the fuss was about. No doubt the well composed shots, editing and stylish black and white all looked like a million dollars, but making the film a trailer was for me an odd decision - it seemed to sidestep the need to create a full story as such (surely a trailer is an ad, not a film), and the mantra of 48HRS is "story is king". Rather than making us a trailer for the film, why not just make the film? That grump out of the way though, these guys have arrived as a first year team with a technical proficiency that many multi-year veterans are still struggling to achieve, and the look of things was extremely slick, so with more attention to story, I think they'll be a real standout of the Chch comp in the future.

I thought this short film was the best quality out of all of them. It was exciting to watch and the girls in the film were very sexy!! I think they did an amazing job and that this was the best one on the night.I would pay to go see their film. They should be taken to the final so they can win it!!

Awesome movie, really loved the close up shots and thought it was like a professional movie trailer and thoroughly enjoyed it!!!!! The girls were really sexy. In my opinion they deserve to win! Go FiveOneSeven Girls.

This film was superb! Enticing intro. Great use of lighting and I just loved how the emotions of the characters came through in such a short film. High school bullying is such a common event in NZ so I'm glad this film seems to be taking a serious approach to it, we need more films like this. What a great idea to showcase this in a trailer.

I loved it (: It looked very profesional and if it was a made into a movie I would go see it !! The acting was absolutly amazing. The director was awesome. I believe it was the best of the night !!!!!!! A good short movie and would LOVE to see it be made into a full movie in the cinema ! It should go to the finals cause it was the best ever! I loved the beginning all the way till the end of it.

[Watched this in the screening room] I had this idea, to make a film trailer, i'm kinda glad I didn't. This just felt... not like a film. And even worse it felt like a non film I didn't want to watch the real film of. Solid cinematography, a bit of effort put in here... but really feel flat for me. The storyline evoked no emotion, or anything for that matter... you didn't know who the characters were, and half the screen time was taken up by either slow motion shots or words explaining that it was "coming this summer". I must admit I liked the "fake trailer" to "Machete", but this just didn't do it for me. If your film is only 3 mins long then It better be 3 minutes of awesomeness! Hope you guys enter next year as you clearly have filming, editing, sound, and acting skills.
