Really good short... from my opinion the film had a double twist ending! The guys from Malaga seem like a cool bunch and looked like they had fun.

One of my picks. Great twist at the end which took most of the audience by surprise. Performances were good throughout and fun was the name of the game. Great use of after effects in editing which made me chuckle as I had seen a very similar one a couple of years ago. Good short guys!

It really looked like these guys had fun. Some really nice shots and lovely idea, the ending was awesome and definitely took me by surprise. I thought the acting could have been improved a little bit, but maybe some quicker editing would do the trick. Some intense depth of field but overall really entertaining.

Great film team... nice simple story to follow... editted together well... acting was decent. liked the twist at the end that took me and most of the audience by surprise.

Excellent short film. Really good plot, camera work and editing, with the best ending in this heat. Defintely top 3 in the heat and possible city finalists.

Plenty of great shots, realistic characters, and lots of fun. Great ending.. was thinking to myself "I wonder if he's gonna get hit by a ..." then BAM!

A great film, with a cast who clearly work well together. Was funny in all the right ways, and felt like an authentic Kiwi comedy. Only gripe would be how well the ending fit the Rom-Com convention, although I far prefer their take on it! It nailed the comedy elements though, and did so without feeling forced.

Was a bit sketchy production wise, but a fun and kiwi funny film that paid off in the end.

Bus Stop Love is what you get when a bunch of bros get “Rom Com” as a genre. All and all, it was a vast improvement on Sydney Manson and the Magical Glasses, their 2010 Musical, and was very enjoyable to watch. The personality of each character was solid, especially the one that liked to watch his friend sleep, who was hilarious. The bus stop scenes were well constructed, and the double punchline, while a bit brutal, was great and had the audience going. Well put together, not as polished visually as some other films, but that didn't detract from it at all, and it managed to not be too long, which is a common problem. Well done on a great film.

Funny and genuine performances. Great twist in the end. However the outcome of the male protagonist could have been handled better. Memorable nevertheless.

Bloody good show! This is down to Earth kiwi comedy at its best... technically it was a bit shady but still that was made up for in the storyline and the execution of the script by the cast! These guys have gotten better over the years... their musical last year was good but let down by the technical side of things. Before that I think they did some sort of an educational film... which was a good laugh! In all this was a joy to watch, I am hoping that the guys from Malaga Film Productions go far this year. They have gotten better over the years and can only get better. They also hold on to the true spirit of 48hours... Getting together with your mates, filming a short and HAVE FUN!

A guy keeps going to a bus stop to see a girl he likes who is always at the one across the road and he takes the poor advice of his flatmates to try and catch her eye. A fairly typical rom-com (not much you can do with it and stay within your genre) that was well played by the actors and the script felt right for each of them. It was funny in all the right places and the ending gained a lot of laughs with the audience. A possible finalist.

Wow, this was an awesome short film. Well paced and executed perfectly. Only gripe was we didn't get to see more of the guy who watches the main character sleep, he was really funny and a joy to watch. The main character was also very good and definitely had some acting skills. The acting was a vast improvement from their previous shorts they've submitted, so was their story telling. Editing felt fluid and cut well, camera work was really good, showing a variety of angles and not being afraid to experiment with a few. Out of all the shorts in this heat, this would be my pick to go to City Finals. Good work, look forward to see what this team comes up with next.
