The Somnambulist

Audio: 3/5 Video: 3/5 Story: 0/5 Acting: 3/5 Overall: 9/20 For a school team, I was impressed with the production values. Of a much higher calibre than some I've seen. However, I couldn't figure out a story anywhere in the film, it felt much more like a segment of a film rather than a film in it's own right.

Audio: 4/5 Video: 5/5 Story: 0/5 Acting: 2/5 Overall: 11/20 Technically, a very nice film. But despite the beautiful transitions between night and day, the story was lacklustre, and I would have liked to see them think a bit more on what to do for the line of dialogue, to help incorporate it into a non-dialogue genre.

DAS BEAT

Audio: 2/5 Video: 3/5 Story: 2/5 Acting: 3/5 Overall: 10/20 I can't really say what I would have done for tech-thriller, but I would never have thought of this. I'm not sure if they were playing for laughs the whole way through with the script and acting, or whether they got unintentional laughs, but the audience appreciated it.

That's Fab

Audio: 3.5/5 Video: 4/5 Story: 3/5 Acting: 3/5 Overall: 13.5/20 This team was given the genre Converging Storylines, and yet I could only see one storyline, which was disappointing. A simple idea, with some amusing parts and a couple of good actors, but the audio needed work, and I felt the end wasn't particularly strong.

Lights.Camera.Wasteland

Audio: 2.5/5 Video: 3/5 Story: 3/5 Acting: 3/5 Overall: 11.5/20 If you ignored the audio faults, this was a good film, but not one that had you rooting for the main character to achieve his goal. The film felt long enough to be able to focus on the main character a bit more, and for a film that was quite serious, the joke at the end felt a little weak.

The Expulsion

Audio: 3/5 Video: 4/5 Story: 3.5/5 Acting: 4/5 Overall: 14.5/20 A nice little film, well acted by the young boy. I really liked how they split the acts up, making us have to guess what had happened. Overall, it was done well with good acting, shots and audio, but didn't quite have enough to grab my attention and make it great.
