I really digged this film. Given that we only have a few minutes to catch the audience's attention I felt as though I was instantly intrigued as to what the had happened to the man in the chair, riddled with cables. The strangeness and bizarrity of the set really lent itself to the expression of the film, as did the music and post-production effects. The cinematography was very well done, they gave you a very powerful sense of what the hero was feeling, without being too ugly. I loved the way each shot had it's own space to breathe. The only places where I felt it fell down was at the resolution, where I wasn't exactly sure to what purpose the machine served: I found the lines difficult to understand in theatre. On the whole though, I found it really memorable and entertaining. 8 Stars!

I really enjoyed the visuals in this, and you did a great job with the genre. My only criticism is you might have needed more plugs.

Excellent, high-quality start to the evening! Only criticism is that I found myself wanting just one more thing from the plot, maybe one more aspect answered. Top-notch though.

A guy is confined to a chair, bleeding, with all manner of cables attached to him that are linked to a wall for monitors and a machines in front of him. Found footage, fake moustaches and sangers are left far behind us in this year's effort from A Good Bunch of Guys. Intense and intriguing this is nicely shot and edited, and what's more nails the genre well. I agree that the ending leaves problem a few to many things unresolved but it's a small quibble. Likely to make the finals, I believe.

Great music on the intro. Cool title design. Super cool set/props. Cool edits when the wires are getting pulled out, though it was a bit gruesome. The wire in the wall was a cringeworthy affair. Cool floor dolly shot. Really liked the editing bits. Super cool closing music/credits music. Not entirely sure what was going on, though. He was trying to improve/fix himself?

Cinematographically, this was gorgeous. Unfortunately, I worked out what was going on relatively early in, and so it seemed like it dragged a little bit more than it should have, especially given the thriller element of the genre. However, it was beautifully dark regardless. Also, I was very impressed with your makeup. I spend a lot of time working with effects makeup, and that experience often means I can often see how effects were created, which sometimes kills the realism a little for me. The wires you had embedded in Vic's skin, however, were done well enough that I was occasionally squirming a little. Very well done.
