This really felt like a film from routine city finalist Herm's Heroes.
Ultimately, I guess I wanted more! I wanted the action scenes to go insane!

Now this is my kinda 48 Hour film! Very fun and an action packed ride. I When's the feature?

This reminds me of a project I made called Johnny Sins 5, featuring local superstar Felix Elliott, which was a fake trailer we made for the 24 hour film competition. I think it's a really fun format to go with if there's no way to make a full short film. Just get some cool shots, add a voice over, and make a trailer. Surprisingly convoluted voice over for what was shot, but i still dig it! Let the idea grow for a bit, then I would love to see you guys have a crack at making this feature length! Don't change the camera or costumes or anything. I can tell from the editing style on display that you guys have all the swag you need to make this happen!

God this is weird but well-executed. Great performances. Visually striking animals. Adorable animals sounds.

The totem made my friend jump, because apparently anything can give Michael a jump scare.

Staircase Nation embraced the beast within but unfortunately they didn't win.

Absolutely awesome. Was smiling the entire duration. A very fun short. The cut @0:22 to the drone shot of the forest with the music pumping is my favorite edit
out of all the short films I have watched so far.

This has the OG spirit of the 48hours in spades. Fantastic work.

4/5

Well well well! Staircase Nation bringing down the house with a brilliant conceptual trailer! We’d love to see this film fully produced...

Great energy, loved the costumes, and the commitment to the style! The sound design is also a step up from last year, and we’d love to see those technical skills continue to develop.

THE BEST THING: High energy and great pacing.
THE NEXT THING: Give us a full character arc next year, fellas! Inspection was funny but not enough happened; this film is also funny, but we’d argue even less happens. We reckon you’ve got it in you to tell a fuller tale next year. You’ve got this!
