I MetaMan™
A stunningly polished film with beautiful visuals and acting. Definitely a step up in visual style from last year. I personally connected more with Zero Mum Game because the story wrapped around and ended in such a satisfying way, whereas with this one the twist didn't land for me or feel earned and the elements didn't feel integrated or purposeful. I was left trying to piece together some of the choices and themes and still it still feels a bit undone. Still, an incredibly impressive achievement that really showcases the team’s talent. I hope I can one day make films this polished.

This one really stuck with me, perfectly creepy and with some really cool shots that kept me visually engaged.
The Goat
Yay so much fun! So many funny moments. That twist at the end and the surprise basketball shot? So good. The wizard is a comedic talent for sure. The plot was a bit loose, but hey, we were here for the jokes anyway, right? And they didn't disappoint!
Skiddles' Run
Great choice of format! The story felt complete, well thought out and had a solid payoff at the end. The camera movements and sound design used to emote the unseen character were super impressive and hella adorable. If I had to suggest something, maybe a different final challenge than rebuilding the same toy tower would have added a bit more excitement. Also, the pacing could have used a little more breathing room to really nail that "no! they were so close" moment. But overall, awesome job! One to beat.

From buying up real estate to being laid to waste, ‘Eat the Rich’ gives a new meaning to a bad investment.
The characters and script were a standout, you really nailed the people we love to hate. The film has a cool vibe with jokes and gore that hit right.
However the interior colour issues were hard on the eyes, and once the boys arrived at the house, the lack of establishing shots made the events feel a bit rushed and less suspenseful than they could have been. Other than that it was a fun ride!

Totally feel the same as the comment above. This looked like pure fun, no limits, all energy and creativity. Honestly, I think we could all use a dose of this, especially the ultra-polished films that usually make it into nationals.
The Devil Wears Pleather
So funny! A rap seems so hard to pull off and you guys really nail it. So many great jokes packed in there as well. Was heaps of fun to watch.
It's About Time
Wow, talk about ambition! This movie had it all – awesome locations, killer costumes, and some seriously talented singers. The musical parts were on point, I especially liked the cinematography in the bar scene. But with just 5 minutes, it felt like the complex plot and the complexity of a musical genre were kinda vying for attention. Still, it was a wild ride!
MARBLES
So sweet! Loved how it balanced funny and sentimental moments which is hard to pull off in a 48h film. The concept felt fresh and original. I think a bit more build up could have made the journey less predictable, but I really enjoyed the dreamlike tone and the way the sweet wrap-up gets flipped at the end.
