Peak 48 Hours right here

The ankle would've been okay if she wasn't wearing the crocs! Buddy is 100% correct - this is what 48 hours is all about!

I echo the sentiment that this short reminds me of the 48 Hours films of the past. Where enthusiastic people are just out there having some fun, making a short film, it has just the right amount of energy from the performances, though the microphone doesn't do it justice. It would be easy to be hypercritical, but the one thing I would say is, go easy on the cross dissolves.

This really is what the competition is all about. The next generation banging down the door with energy that the rest of us can only dream of.

Age inappropriate casting with wigs and suits genuinely takes me back to the days of Graduate Massacre and Calvin Sang. But they're asking BIG questions of marriage and proposals and more with vigour and drama like their lives depended on it.

Firstly nice work getting out and about to shoot the film. It's easy to shoot at home and going out gave your film a point of difference with the treehouse in particular standing out. Subtitles a really nice touch for accessibility and every performer went for it when given their chance to shine.

To elevate your next films I'd work on avoiding wind on the soundtrack, cut down a little on the cross dissolves (or MAKE THEM YOUR THING) and practice white balance and use of light to try and not have any shots slightly overblown.

Really fun film though. Well done :)
