CK delivered a really clever take on the found footage genre with stunning editing and motion graphics. From one post-production nerd to another - this was so impressive. Especially in the almighty stressful 48 hour film production window! The ensemble cast delivered confident, dry performances in classic CK style. Everyone on-screen nailed their performance, although I found it a little overwhelming to connect with any one character deeply with so many people on screen at any one time. The running scene CRACKED me up and there were so many small details and easter eggs throughout the film that demand a second viewing. The ending was hilarious and although the set-up was quite obvious at the start (in hindsight), I never saw the twist coming until it arrived. This was a fun take on the bland, dull culture of online meetings - if all work meetings were like this, I'd need a supply of popcorn with me 24/7!

Last year my favorite film by far was Sweets by Disqualified Tim. And this year seeing your one, I'm beginning to suspect that I have a thing for surrealist black and white films that taking place in strange lands that seem to be cobbled together, staring a cast of strange and wonderful characters. particularly when said film's title is a monosyllabic plural noun.

I love every choice you made.

What a trip this film was. A treat from its art style to its subverting story. Hilarious caricature of humanity. A short sharp meditation of the current state of creating and the film industry.
Great work. Would love to see a longer short of this style and humour:)

The overwhelming chatter at the Tasting room bar last night was “but where was mousetrap?”

Such a slick fun film. Would watch for fun outside of the competition.

It's a familiar trope for the 48, a short about the competition itself, but for the genre, it is appropriate. Overall, there is an entertaining charm to it all once you get into it and understand what is going on. There are some rough bits here and there, but I guess, given it's a mockumentary, it doesn't work against the film. I do wish you had been a little more creative with the minatures, though.

This is such a sweet story with a lovely message. I think the most wholesome 48 hour film I've ever seen and a well deserved win for the competition this year! The ladybug and spider are both so cute.

So sweet, it's nice to see a whole family involved in the competition! Going through the overgrown plant fridge was fantastic and whimsical. I enjoyed every minute of it!

One of the finest AuroraVision productions to date! Cannot wait to see what they get up to next year!

Horror movie vibe. Unsettling. No jump scares.
