This was by far my favourite film from the Turanga region this year.

I've been watching the Gizzy region for nearly two decades and It's such a breath of fresh air (pun intended) to have such a unique and original concept about Taniwha hunting in Uawa within a film. That boat shot made me smile after what you guys went through during Gabrielle. And it also brought a tear to my eye to see Richard? (Don't worry, we don't know each other bro) but I recognise you from the previous Gizzy Winner films you made nearly 20 years ago. Just a fan e hoa.

I dug this film for its superb acting, unique concept and simplicity.

The ending part reuniting with the dog leg legitimately made me nearly mimi myself with laughter.

Top marks bro.

Ive never felt so conflicted on a film.
Loved the humour. Loved the off the cuff vibe and characters were brilliant.
Didn't love seeing the pig being hacked into and severed head. I can handle all manners of screen gore but when it's real it's a personal huge turn off.
That aside, the ending of this film is so pitch perfect I wish it was something I'd come up with.
