48 Hours is not enough

Hey team pretty sure Wellington trains and railway station in particular are a hard no for shooting 48.

Here we have a group of filmmakers entering the 48 Hours filmmaking competition, complete with talking heads for the (mock)documentary.

A strong lead performance by the grumpier old director in the film, but I felt that from a technical point of view your white balance could have been more refined, the visuals came across a little flat in general with no grade or depth of field or aperture to give them a more cinematic edge, and audio peaked several times.

Good energy but mockumentaries have been overdone a lot in this competition. Polish up the tech and come back stronger as some definite promise with your performers in particular.

It's a familiar trope for the 48, a short about the competition itself, but for the genre, it is appropriate. Overall, there is an entertaining charm to it all once you get into it and understand what is going on. There are some rough bits here and there, but I guess, given it's a mockumentary, it doesn't work against the film. I do wish you had been a little more creative with the minatures, though.
