Lucky Last
I enjoyed this film guys. A scary horror is a tough achievement, I thought the acting was solid and there was some really good tension, the sound was awesome and it was really well written. I especially enjoyed the woman being hugged/strangled to death, loved it. The bits that let me down were the "I did that" line, the burnt guy didn't look believably burnt and I had to think about the Nicky Brick character, I guess everyone is unlucky in this one. You guys should be proud of this effort overall in a heat which I thought had some good films. Unlucky not to make the Finals. (Watched it again online, altered my review)
Daylight Robbery
Well done Goodfellas!, again.... Tough genre and you guys pretty much nailed it, some beautiful camera use, a great way to introduce the characters, the story was smart and the space worked well. Only shortfalls were the audio and I found the comedy a little forced a couple of times. Good job
