Great writing, camerawork, and editing. An entertaining concept that really played into the cat and mouse genre for a fun time. Funny dialogue and story. Some great twists at the end that elicited a yell of despair from the audience. Really well executed all around.

I wonder if a close-up of a foot hitting a root (or other suitably entertaining obstacle) could have helped sell the subsequent tripping-up shot.

This one kicked off Heat #3 and it really set the tone! Super fun, very funny and great incorporating some particular cat and mouse tropes (like looking for the person, moving on then they emerge from behind a tree etc...) Loved the pace, loved the performances, be proud, team!

You guys rock! You've really taken the cat and mouse genre and lent into it with this film. Great use of action which was really sold by the camera work. By no means an easy feat. Awesome stuff!

Hey, congrats on the audience win! You clearly had a lot of connections and supporters behind your team, that’s so awesome. It’s clear you had a lot of fun putting this together, and the audience was entertained - particularly with that egg drop, which was a nice ending.

There were a couple of things from a technical point of view that pulled us out of it a little. Speeding up footage for no reason is a big no-no in our books - if you need to get through something fast, just cut the fluff. Also, while we’re always in awe of original music being made in this comp, the classic GarageBand/Logic Pro rock drummer sound was quite distracting for us.

THE BEST THING: Probably the drone shots, to be honest! I wonder how a cat-and-mouse film would look entirely from a drone perspective — that would be interesting...

THE NEXT THING: Continue to refine your editing until you have a lean, mean story. We reckon you could easily cut a minute or two out of this film and it would still be in tact. Looking forward to seeing next year’s submission!

Nice work team! I really enjoyed this- you had a good variety of different shots that were cut together well- I especially liked the whip-pans. With the sped up footage, I found this quite fitting for the cat and mouse chase, which fits the genre well. Actually takes me back to films like "The God's Must Be Crazy' which had a lot of experimental sped up footage, and also for comic relief, like Benny Hill.
Keep up the great work- you managed to tell a story about an egg that included suspense and elements of danger. Well done for making a film in 48Hours.

Wow that funny with the egg drop at the end.

The chase was great

I am sure I saw a light stand in shot near the end.
