Screen Wellington is absolutely buzzing to announce they're fueling the future of filmmaking in the coolest little capital! They are putting their money where their heart is by sponsoring a $1000 cash prize for the winner of Thomas Coppell’s Regional Manager Rising Star Award!

That's right, they're all about celebrating the incredible talent emerging from Te Whanganui-a-Tara / Wellington, recognizing those exciting new filmmakers who are ready to make their mark on the world. This award is a massive shout-out to the next generation of Wellington storytellers, and we can't wait to see who takes home the prize.
