Whoopies Daisy

Good comic conceit, bad settling on a title. Who will survive? Buy a ticket to “Whoopies Daisy” or “Oopsie Daisy” or whatever the hell this is called and find out.

Loveee that the film name popped up immediately after hitting someone haha! Oopsieee. And I should have seen the end coming, but I did not x) I'm not sure I'm supposed to find this much death as funny as I did, but I enjoyed it lol, great job

I loved this! A great take on "found footage" and a very very funny story that is very well executed. Great, authentic performances. You have a strong instinct for comedy. I love that each dashcam or body cam has a distinctive look and feel. This is exactly the kind of film you should make in 48Hours. Short, sweet, and hilarious.

I loved this film and it was one of my favourites from a strong heat! I thought your use of multiple types of found footage each with a different style was very clever in giving multiple points of view of the action and keeping things visually interesting while staying on genre. The acting was solid, and the story super entertaining as more and more bodies accumulate. One minor thing: The second guy to arrive - how did he die? Was it heart attack from shock? This was the only bit that felt a little unclear to me. Overall, a very fun film that we really enjoyed and were very surprised to not find on the shortlist. Can’t wait to see what you do in future entries!

The pumpkin dude murder team returns with a huge level up!

Telling the whole thing through dash cams is a smart use of Found Footage and it is by far the biggest strength here. In a sea of teams this year really struggling to commit to the bit, you guys got very close to a 100% found footage experience, and so well done for that.

Where it comes apart is the back half. The characters make some pretty bizarre decisions that we could not track, and then it stops rather than ends. While the deaths are very funny and it was a huge crowd pleasure, there just wasn't enough to chew on for this film to climb higher on our lists. A great setup, let down by not knowing how to add more than 'and then this person dies, and then this person dies'.

THE BEST THING: The dash cams setup. A properly disciplined use of found footage - excellent.

THE NEXT THING: Spend more time on your ending, and make your characters decisions justified! not random killing! Looking forward to next years entry!
