The Deadumentary

Goodness gracious me, this film was not just absolutely hilarious, but also incredibly incorporates a stellar story and a thrilling experience. The performances by these upcoming actors were incredible and the combination of a documentary and a suspenseful murder mystery combines flawlessly resulting in a short film that is simply incredibly amazing and deserves much praise.

I loved the crowbar gore. The documentary format was fun. Hugging the detective was funny. Brodie the Stoner was hilarious. The sinister pivot to the briefly adorable Betty was a lovely touch. The comedic error at the end was entertaining. Well done for having your patriotic hero Detective Zinc reach one conclusion while the audience reaches a completely conclusion.

You might need to check if your camera has a volume control for the microphone, as the sound was clipping at some points. A goal for next time could be to lean more strongly into the tropes of the genre you get assigned.
