This film was absolutely stunning, I was positively blown away by the high level of cinematography. I would honestly be shocked if this film didn't win this competition, and I have already personally nominated it for my small awards show I run (hint hint, watch the next Oscars). Congratulations on the incredible outcome team.

This was an excellent film that stood out above the other school entries. The story of the damaged painting was somewhat cliched (Mr Bean), but was executed extremely well, and the repair with tools was a new twist. All actors did well, especially the main actor. And the Room of Ur was just hilariously random - how long has that guy been sitting on the loo?!! Great attention to detail also, such as the telephone caller ID "Ur". Well done.
Great watching it at the Heat Live.
Really enjoyed the pun on the room of Ur.... so good. I reckon you didn't need to explain it!
Wicked film. Great story telling and classic kiwi comedic moments. Awesome set and performances. Congrats on making something rad
This is a fun film with a witty script, sharp editing, nicely mixed audio, good performances, and some imaginative shots. The film is dripping with comedic value – from carrying a random mop all around the house to all sorts of random and well-choreographed tool shenanigans. The exaggerated comedic errors make me cringe in horror.
The two parallel storylines and abrupt ending were great. It would be tempting to call one of them a red herring, a distraction from the true plot, but actually they both feel like satisfying storylines that raise big questions I have to answer for myself.
I liked the use of quick pans, and a cross dissolve to show the passage of time. Animating a change of aspect ratio for the broken fourth wall was a nice touch.
Some shots were a bit crooked and could have benefited from ensuring the camera was level and facing exactly straight ahead. If you want to up the ante next time, you could use manual focus, boom or lapel mics, and play even more with camera angles and framing.
I too noticed the echoes of Bean: The Ultimate Disaster Movie, but was impressed that the cleaner managed to be even more stupid than Mr Bean.
Perfect Cell reference
A great comedy of errors film gang. Great job. Sure to perform well!
A perfect ending to cap of a hilarious film! (Perfect use of the vine boom!)
You've got to at least get nominated for best use of 'rumour', it's such a great pun, I love it to it's very core!
In my opinion this was definitely the highest quality film out of all the school team films, and you had a good balance of humour and plot.
My one suggestion would be for you guys to go bigger, not bigger sets or a larger story, but just more wackiness! Although this film is already quite wacky and awesome, it felt like if you just took one more step and lent into everything just a bit more it would have elevated this film by a lot. The ending and the introduction to the room of ur both had the right amount of fun and wackiness but some of the other parts of it feel like they could go slightly more all out. like they're 95% of the way there, but just haven't added that last 5%.
This is very minor and nit-picky though! Your film is great, and I had a lot of fun watching it in the heats! All of your actors were really good, and portrayed each of their very different characters perfectly!
