I quite liked this film! The idea of a thief stealing unnecessary items was very cool and the crack up lines of dialogue that went with it worked very well. The fairy costume was hilarious and the acting was good too! Some great camera work used! Very crisp and clean cut. An original idea that worked well! Good job.

I think I remember this team/team members from last year. This year they really stepped up their game. While I was not really a fan of the acting, it looked quite nice in parts and had some really interesting shots/effects. It also had some funny jokes throughout it, which is appreciated since they didn't go 100% for the crime idea which would have been contrived. Ultimately, despite being one of the more visually interesting films of Heat 6, the story or delivery of it didn't pack enough of an original punch for me to truly love it. But good effort from Filmosophic Pictures.

So, our lead's daughter or partner (was confused which) complains to her dectective father/partner that some of her stuff has gone missing courtesy of a fairy. He gets on the case. Cue Film Noir cliché. Nicely filmed, well edited (although there were some crazy eye-lines at one point - intentional?) and just OK sound (was a bit low in parts making dialogue hard to hear). Some of the effects were good such as the slo-motion sequence and the acting was effective. The audience loved the fairy-guy. The problem I have with film noir being applied is that it's such a tired style that I always feel like I've seen the film before; it doesn't mean that its application here was done badly, it's just that it doesn't feel like much of an original concept.

I liked the noir-esque grading style. "Not exactly how I'd like to get a girl under the sheets" nice line. Great dialogue in that scene. The "crazy brothers" bit was amazing. Voice over work was great. Nice editing with the gun cam going back and forth and the guy appearing. Kind of confused on the whole story side of it, but great production and some great one-liners throughout.

Probably my second favourite film from the night. It was well shot and acted pretty well. DIdn't like how "fantasy" it got near the end but the audience seemed to enjoy it. I didn't know what angle this film took though, some parts which seemed serious had the audience laughing. It definitely has its comedic moments though and I was entertained. Great effort for a young team and I look forward to what you show next year!
