A guy is diagnosed with some fatal disease. The only known cure was a leaf that may or may not exist. Had a dark moody feel with some nice graphic elements. Good effort.

Urban Legend - such a great integration of the myth without blatantly stating it! Some very cool effects with the layering, such a shame it didn't turn out 100% in the final version. Wasn't too much character development, and the pacing was a bit off. Could have been explained a little better. However, fantastic twist at the end. The voicemail was unexpected and well delivered. Good job!

Great plot, bit unfortunate about the video breaking up at parts. Not sure if that was the plan or if the render had a spazz on you.

Loved the concept. Loved the lead actor and his narrative. Loved the overall eerie feel.

A promising start but it drifted off towards the end when I think you had the opportunity to 'kill' the audience with a cleverer twist. I like the fact that you focused on the prop as key element of the story.

Nicky goes into the woods to attempt to find an elusive plant that can heal his terminal illness. The file for this film was not happy which resulted in some freezing and chunky pixels. There were also a few audio issues and a lot of grainy footage. There was a nice vanishing behind a tree sequence that the audience enjoyed and the final voice-over did play out pretty well - proving that Nicky was truly unlucky. An interesting approach to the genre that was well-received by the audience.

Great concept and plot. Forest scene could have been a little better executed. And maybe a little more tweaking on the Special Effects. Lead role was well done. Pity about the few issues in the playback. Loved the ending - very well delivered.

Good points - great script and appears the lead actor has a lot of raw potential. I also liked the fact that it was a short that worked on more than one level and didn't seem to fall back into clichés or tired stereotypes. The film was let down however by some technical issues.

Generally well shot, although a little fuzzy. Very nice ending to play on the unlucky side of Nicky, and of course good use of the leaf requirement. I drifted watching it a bit so possibly a bit long but a solid effort.

This film captured me from the start. There were some interesting filming angles but the sound was bit off in place and I was sure if some of the picture fuzziness was effects or not. Love mitten gloves :)
