Flat white takeaway $10?! Outrageous! This was an absolute blast to see at the heats with huge audience laughs throughout brought on by some witty dialogue, clever camerawork and wonderful use of practical FX. I swear we used the same fake blood recipe!

An ode to J horror classics like THE GRUDGE and HIRUKO THE GOBLIN, Cogwork Kererū make a very relatable film here as a contact centre worker is caught at the wrong place at the very wrong time. For anyone that's done a health and safety course there is a very memorable scene where somebody forgets why the Beegees are used to ahem help people stay alive.

Really really great use of a macro shot highlighting actual emotional panic of the lead character, and the film had a charming but important message at the end.

Confident performances, structurally sound and whilst the focus was on comedy, there was an underlying theme of horror and a couple of great shots that really stuck in the mind.

My one minor nitpick was that perhaps the office backdrop could have had some more interesting backgrounds to provide visual pop and contrast? Having said that you went hard to give the film a ton of coverage and variety across the workspace. A really fun time!
