Well done on your inaugural 48Hours film! Some nice smooth editing, some beautifully composed shots, some well-chosen music for the genre, and some great gags (such as choosing the smaller scooter, the visual comedy of the chase, and the hilarious ending). It was cool to set up a high-stakes chase and then undermine it with a joke. Overall, a nice simple story, which is what you need for 48Hours.
The scene with all the eviction/termination letters is a nice way to build a picture of your main character in the audience's mind. It would be cool if the film did a bit more to introduce the two characters, building a picture in the audience's mind of their backgrounds and personality traits. This could help the audience hold more assumptions about the characters which the film could then confirm or shatter.
The shot of the guy with the spade getting off the quad bike could have cut to the following shot sooner, as it was distracting to have him walking off in one direction and then suddenly be walking off in another direction. I noticed one place where the voice got out of sync with the video. But minor details in an overall polished edit.
In terms of advice for the future, have a look at some of other 48Hours films and people's feedback in the reviews, and think about what techniques you might like to play with in the future.

This was lots of fun! and for a first time team you did what you could with the action side of it and had a real go at the eighties detective tone. We're big fans of tiny motorbikes!
For next year, giving more time to your audio is the thing to chase. Sound is king is probably the biggest technical mantra in this comp! If we had to pick between a great looking film we cannot hear and a plain looking film we can, we would take the second one every time.
Potato for your troubles is a brilliant line.
THE BEST THING: The motorbike, some nice shots, and a solid attempt at a tricky genre.
THE NEXT THING: Sound is king! Can't wait to see what you cook up next year.
