You got some loud genuine laughs out of us as we watched! I love petty revenge stories. I got so caught up in all the funny rumours that I completely forgot about the initial "murderer" convo that happened, so when we got to "too late, it's already on the news," we found the esculated reveal hilarious. And then the twist! Shoulda seen it coming but was too busy enjoying the chaos.

Always a sucker for an OTT revenge in response to a minor slight set-up.
The opening party scenes had some nice sound design going on, and I loved the link back to the dialogue about the murder from this scene – this was set up as a throw-away piece of conversation used to lead us to the ‘Charlie pissed himself’ story and I didn’t give it much attention at first, so when it was pulled back into the story it felt really satisfying rather than really predictable.
In terms of visuals I thought the confrontation scene in front of the glass windows in particular was lit nicely and were some pretty good looking shots! One thing is some longer scenes in the film happen inside a house with characters in conversation with each other. This can be tricky in not feeling static/flat – some more shot variation here or other visual elements might help to keep the pace up.
The final reveal was fun – loved the music choice and Charlie’s reaction too!

I love how this film keeps escalating. Some lovely camerawork and well-composed shots. Great finale. Great use of choral and organ music at the end to drive the impact of the twist ending. I'm a huge fan of majestic organ soundtracks in cinema.

Great bookending with the murder reference. I didn't even notice it on my first viewing but it's lovely for the story to come full circle.

The night-time shot at the start is very dark. This is problematic if watching the film on a TV in daylight. I wonder if the exposure could have been increased on the camera, or if grading could have been used in some way (play with contrast, whites, blacks, shadows, exposure) to make the footage a bit more visible.

The extreme close-up with the ringing sound works well to illustrate the impact of the "pissed yourself" rumour. During the slow shots before this, a cool idea could be for the "Do you remember when you pissed yourself at camp?" vocal to keep echoing/repeating, while the sound from the room gets progressively more muffled.

This was one of my favourite films of the heat. Well done!

Really enjoyed this film, it got some genuine laughs out of us. The petty revenge turned big twist made it very intriguing. The lighting varied quite a bit, as well as the sound. This made it a little tricky to watch but other than that, great job. :)

You found a very clean way into the revenge genre and we thought it was very clever!

The escalating list is the best thing in it. The rhythm of that build is great. Then it turns properly dark when the rumour lands him in a murder investigation - the double twist at the end was a lot of fun.

THE BEST THING: Strong structure, competently told. Good jokes and a fun escelation.

THE NEXT THING: A bit of techincal polish would do this team good in the future - tighter edit, clearer sound etc. You have great story telling chops, I can see bigs things for you in the 48hours comp if you stick at it! Nice job.
