My, my. This film looks and sounds solid. Pretty crisp looking visuals and I must give you guys praise for getting in that water at this time of year. That shot inbetween the rocks looks nice as. You guys have mad skills for such a young team. Keep entering. You guys have something there. If I had to guess, you guys were disqualified because of the copywriten music one would presume. Regardless, solid effort guys.

I’m sorry about the disqualification. Your lead was oddly charming even while acting obnoxious haha, so it was fun to watch him unsuccessfully navigate this story. Like the person above said, a lot of commitment getting into the water this time of year! The make up on the drowned is very cool. I don’t know if your disqualification is because of the song, but I understand why you wanted it, it amplified the otherworldliness of everything going on.

I love the ethereal siren in the water, all the elements are there in the storytelling and visuals. Would have been interesting to see more of a struggle, or even more of the siren's world and limitations. Great work and it's a real bummer it was disqualified. I hope to see another folktale adaptation in the future!
