10/10 greatest film of the year, the odyssey more like the ODDyssey

Really liked your film, the man with the tin hat being in every scene was a good touch!

I loved the concept of your film, and I think you pulled it off really well at the end how everything came together! I love that you can feel the performers are kind of awkward in front of a camera, but you all seem to be having so much fun and it's so infectious and charming! It is paced a little slow, I think you could have cut it down to a snappier film and it would have been slightly more impactful. But overall, this is great stuff! I hope you guys keep entering the competition, I think you guys could go far!

I wasn’t sure where this was going to begin with but was enjoying all the little moments along the way, like the keys in the microwave, checking teeth and hair in camera haha, wrapping his head in tinfoil, double tripping etc. Sometimes it’s just good fun to watch a bit of silliness and there was a lot of that, and it really was good fun. But it also all came together very nicely at the end. A great comedy of errors film where the errors ended up serving a purpose. I hear it’s a pretty solid business strategy to create a problem then sell the solution, so I see a very bright future ahead of main character. And you know he’s a problem solver cuz, ‘oh sorry, I’m busy,’ got him out of a fight haha.
I also really enjoyed all the locations around Tauranga. It was awesome to see you highlight some of the cool art we’re so lucky to have here, including high fiving the hands and the punk rocker utility box (one of my favs).
This was a really solid effort, and you should be proud of what you made :)
