The Rescue Party

The dialogue between the two main characters really made this film. Had some hilarious moments, especially the unexpected graphic violence half way through. It included some beautiful shots, I really liked the shot as the two girls enter the barn. Nicely put together, well done.

Good script had a couple of guys tied to a chair, sending out a call for help that produced some cracking dialogue between themselves and two farm women. "Txt that you're a little bit kidnapped" = very funny. Exploding sheep and revelations kept the plot ticking along, I was really loving this until the ending, as I felt that your insomniac Vic Meyer was quite weak in terms of the character trait.

The opening in particular was hilarious! The acting was great as well, I loved the one liners from the guys at the beginning. The only issue I had was sound was a little bit loud at times, otherwise awesome effort for 48 hours!

How hilarious was that banter between the two actors in the beginning?! I loved their chat about texting the girls, it made for a great opening that definitely drew me in. One of the stronger films in the heat, but I did miss the part with the insomniac? Not sure if I wasn't paying enough attention after being distracted by an exploding sheep :P awesome SFX!

Great 'Kiwi-style' film. A minor problem with out of sync sound, but otherwise it had it all. Crowd favourite and for good reason.

Cool short, lots of fun, but I did think the pacing was a little off. They had a few sound issues, but the story was cool and it looked slick. Great closing credits and a team that really seemed to have their groove together. Nice job.

Loved this one and my pick of the heat. Funny dialogue and a great pairing with the two guys. Girls had some funny moments and the sheep gag was good. Liked the play on the insomniac being the chainsaw guy and having an odd habit of stealing and delivering the mail. Funny quirk for the otherwise tough looking antagonist. Also good use of the card being delivered by tge bad guy Some issue with the sound but otherwise a really great effort!
