With believable characters and a decent plot, this genuinely sad short was a very solid entry and congrats to the writer. Before the reveal, I was sure it was either going to be what it eventually turned out to be, or else a comedy twist. I'm glad they did the brave thing and stuck with the downer storyline. Best use of 'Did you hear that" in the heat too, I feel. Good acting, and one of my faves of the heat.

Now this was a really nice film. Contemplative but engaging as a young couple struggle to deal with the guy's obsession, one he has held on to when he should possibly just let go. Had a heartfelt message, both actors did a fine job and the soundtrack was ace.

Well shot, emotional film about a man who is struggling with a death in the family and the effect it is having on his wife. Great performances by actors and another really strong film.

Great script, poignant story, nice shots, yes, an ace soundtrack and BRILLIANT acting. If the first couple of minutes had clearer sound and less distracting editing calls - I felt the cutting between scenes at the beginning was done is a rather blocky manner that was a bit rough for setting up the story - I felt this could otherwise be a serious contender for being a finalist. The second half of the film just blew me away. And yes, I agree that it was best use of the mandatory line in this heat. Great script, poignant story, nice shots, yes, an ace soundtrack and BRILLIANT acting. Well done.
