This was a very good film and created a very strong and slightly humorous atmosphere of the man's loneness. Good use of music. Good casting with both the "imaginary friend" and the lonely man. Nice shot with the mirror when we first saw the second guy. The gore and blood was done pretty well, although it was noticeably fake, but the slightly funny nature of the film allowed this to be overlooked. I didn't entirely understand the twist at the end with the mirror, but that may have been the intended effect.

Clever idea for a techno-thriller if I may say so. A nice way to play one the audience's emotions. You hit the genre spot on. In terms of story line, I felt that it was quite slow moving at the start. Did the audience need 3 minutes of establishing just to get Vic's character? When we got to the actual substance of the story it got much better. I loved the creepy mind-friend, that character was great (also note I loved the way you never showed him speaking). The thriller part of the film was done very well too - with strong acting and good atmosphere. Sadly, the end seemed a little weak. Good job with the blood and gore - pretty damn realistic for a 48 hour competition. But the twist at the end? I'm not sure I got what it implied. Was the main still possessed? If so, how? Or was he just altered? Well done on making it so creepy though.

This had some very good acting in it, and the characters were formed beautifully. Fantastic exposition, which got us fully onside with you, and we had complete engagement with your main character. This was a major success in the film. Having a believable, well formed, well acted character at the centre of it did a great job in making this film compelling. The story was quite good, and in general production standards were pretty good. I felt there was possibly more you could do with your camera work at times, and you could've played around a little more with your sound design. Nice makeup effects! At times the film did feel a little abrupt - fade outs etc. Also personally I didn't think the twist at the end was wholly necessary, and fell a little flat in relation to what was overall a pretty good story.

A suitably mawkish performance from the main character anchored this film, which otherwise could have been rather unfocused. Loved the creepiness of the virtual friend, even if jealous murders from an artificial companion are a little cliché. Cinematography was fine, though lighting was a little off at times and the 'office' was clearly someone's house. Still, excellent visual effects both in the bonding and cutting scenes, a delightful repeated shot of Vic sadly eating his sandwiches and a great Shyamalan-style 'tweest' at the end (that I thought was pretty clear) made this film pretty damn impressive. Well done, guys!

I really liked this film. It did creepy very very well. Both lead actors excellent. Great effects when removing the implant from the hand. A few niggles with the workplace scenes, but overall great.

Great lead actor. I did enjoy this film and the scene where he cut himself was great (a bit obvious that it was makeup, but still worked well). I did engage with the lead character and generally felt his loneliness. I also got the ending and thought it came across quite clear. I'd say to watch your pacing in areas. The repetitive of the shots (eating sandwich, getting ready in the morning, walking down the steps, shutting the gate) felt like it played out a little long and we already got it. But good creepy film and good luck for the rest of the competition.
