Loved the fart joke. I was worried for a while that it wasn't coming, well timed and nicely executed. Eight stars.

Loved the noir feel, and the gag, although set up in the title, worked nicely. Great fun.

Very clean editing, story was told succinctly, perhaps best use of line in tonight's heat. I respect a film that knows what it can realistically achieve given limitations of crew, genre, etc but given the obvious technical skill which is on this team would like it to be a tiny bit more ambitious.

well I really liked this short film because it is pretty concise about the story .

Great film, obviously lots of technical skill in this team. Was waiting for the joke, it came- comedic bits could easily have taken a boost if sprinkled through the film. I wasn't able to follow the story as well as I would have liked, the overload of dark shots were well used but a bit too much for my eye's attention span. Sorry. Acting was good and this team look like they know what they're doing. Six stars :)

This film really stood out as the best of the night to me. They managed to capture the moody Noir feel perfectly and story is beautifully simple and well paced. The acting and camera work are natural and polished and the humour is well played without being overdone. I can not find fault with this film.

I liked the beginning of this film where the actors face and hair changes, i wasnt too sure where the movie was going for a while there, lol i was waiting patiently for the "crime" part to take effect and when it did I was pleasantly surprised. Nice use of the card prop though probably not very original. In saying that I actually really enjoyed this film and it was in my top 3 for audience vote!

Very professionally edited and directed, well crafted with nice humorous touches in the beginning leading to a punchy ending. Loved the noir feel and the intro with the changing faces, then the ink effect in the credits. A nicely polished submission!

Slick opening titles, the story kept your attention right up until the awesome punch line! Well acted also!

Beautifully shot. Seriously. I loved how moody it was. The audio and everything was perfect. The joke was given away in the title but heck, it still worked. Excellent work :)

Was it just me or did this film seem short? I got the idea quickly about "Vic" suffering his insomnia and felt the cuts back and forth in the lounge didn't perhaps need to be so many. I felt It could have developed into something a bit more before heading off into the taxi. Good punchline I just felt something was missing. Overall good product though

I liked the ending and beginning to this film.

I'm going to make an educated guess and say you guys love Taxi Driver. You did a pretty good job of capturing the feel, with solid visuals that were well-edited. Sound could have used a little work though. The voice-over was maybe just a little too close to the actual one from Taxi Driver, but it was pretty bold to end the movie on a fart joke like that and the title card was very cool. You clearly know what you're doing, so I'd say just keep on doing it.

Nice use of narrative. Was the whole short really a build up to a fart joke? Good on ya! Really good soundtrack. For such a sophisticated serious film with an endless introduction, I was hoping for a better punchline! I did giggle though! Cool twist :D

50 seconds of credits at the top of the film (good looking credits though they maybe!) followed by a one minute voiceover scene in the lounge with nothing visually happening made this film really hard for me to get into. I did quite dig the ending and it was shot quite well but I just think the pacing wasn't as quick as I'd like. Obviously a team with some talent though, I look forward to seeing more entries from you.
