Leafal Interests

A one-shot mockumentary which usually earns my ire but this fell in line well with the required elements rather than shoe horning them in. A focus on the 8th episode of a show regarding over zealous leaf collectors in search of rare shrubbery gave had all the actors hit their marks, had a beginning middle and end and got some good audience laughs especially the strong boyfriend taking offence to thinking our female lead was checking out his "missus". Taking a show and giving it the feeling that ordinary people wouldn't just turn tricks for the camera was well conveyed.

Zubab? there was one odd sound effect in there too.. confusing & distracting.. mockumenting how obsessive collectors habits can go.. could have used a bit of story.. this one was straight heading to check out the missus with a consequence.. ...but wait! there is a golden leaf..! somewhere there..

Given this movie was completed by year 12s, was a first attempt and to then get 'one shot' I think they did an awesome job. Loved the main character and the added humour. Well done.
