Hi Nice sweet story just something was missing to really grab me into the story. Good natural acting and connection between characters (the brother sister thing). Production was good but again nothing really stood out and made me go Wow and whether that is missing story beats in the direction or the story itself, the team will have to decide. Great effort.

Nicely shot and well acted, buuuuuuttt....left me a little cold. Not sure why. Maybe it's because I've been broken into before and find it hard to see housebreakers as sympathetic characters. The twist was a little odd, and maybe could have used a little more clarification.

The impending but semi-expected twist at the end is what defined this short and the feel good factor overshadowed most of the banality of rest of the content...a pretty good job

This was a film that I kept expecting to get better, but by the end I realised it just wasn't going to. It had elements of being something more than it was, but I think the slightly convoluted story got in the way of something that could have been really good if they kept it more simple.

A brother and sister commit a robbery and the sister gets caught. They must do one last job so she can pay off her debts. A great premise but I felt it just missed the mark slightly. It was well shot and the acting was good, I just can't put my finger on exactly what it was missing. Apart form the fact I too have been burgled and can't sympathise with someone committing that crime - so maybe that was it. I did find it funny though that her enormous debts amounted to about $150.

My major problem was that the actors were actually quite good but they had bad dialogue....the characters didn't develop neither did the story, it was over a minute too long and I was bored again. Just know that keeping out attention is actually quite easy if you move the story along faster. 7 minutes isn't a goal, its a maximum. Seems to be written by someone who watches too many Scorsese films.

This film seemed a little messy for me. That is hard to explain I know but maybe the script wasn't tight but hey it is pressure to come up with a script in a few hours then film it. Nice ending but ok the older couple where did they fit in again? Just some random friends? Well try to tie them in somehow so they aren't a surprise. The sibling thing was nice and how the big brother saved her in the end was cute. It was a great effort but needed more of a punch.

Just got back from the Auckland regional finals and to be perfectly honest, I dont quite understand why this film was in it. I didn't really enjoy anything about this film, I thought the acting was average and in places cringeworthy, I thought the script was rough, I didn't really like the concept and thought the soundtrack was unfitting and uninteresting. Granted, these are all very common traits of 48hour films, mine included, but I really dont think that this film should have gotten as far as it did.

Saw this film at the Auckland Finals. I felt that the film was way too long, dragged heaps and didn't really grab me. The changes in tracks of different music interrupted the flow which was sometimes quite abrupt and the music didn't always fit the film. The one point where I thought it looked and sounded really good was when the pair were walking up to the final house to commit the robbery, in slow motion with a great song...only to last about 5 seconds, then going back to being like the rest of the film. Not 100% sure why this was in the finals, but the judges must have liked it!
