Good effort. Some nice ideas and some good looking shots and camera movements. Perhaps verging on pretentious at times, but you'll figure out how to avoid that as you get better. Keep at it!

Great little short with so many cuts! Can tell how hard the crew must have worked for this. Telling the story by what is actually in the screen would have been better than telling it by a monologue

I had to write a review because I feel like this film is getting severely underrated. Disappointed that it didn't make it into audience favourites, but 'serious' films sometimes have a hard time in this competition. Love the mood and tone of this film. Beautiful shots. I hope this film is a contender for Best Cinematography because I'd like to see what this team could do next year with a kick-ass camera.

Some stunning shots guys, especially with the doves (?) flying around the skateboarder in he park. Beautiful. Loved how you ended on the line of dialogue too. Nice work and good luck!

I quite liked this film. I loved the Narrators voice but I think you shouldn't have gone for rhyme because in parts it just didn't work. For a young entry (I think) it had a lot of heart in the story content which spoke of a mature attitude and 10 points for that. Keep that flavour in your films, steer clear of the "potty humour" and I'd like to see what you turn out next year.

thank you for the reviews! sean wallace: yea, i can see what you mean by pretentious. it's quite hard with the equipment we had. (nex-5) but no excuses! we shall try to improve it! thanks for your review! dwijip: Thank you!! the crew worked un-believably hard! well, i think the movie would tells the story by itself even if we dont put the narration in. Mcfly: I KNOW RIGHT! they might as-well separate between serious and comedy films! (no offense to comedy films because i think they are great) movies that actually win this competition has a balance between comedy and seriousness (drama and storyline). Cinematography is indeed our main strength! if we did win the Cinematography prize and get FLASH AZ camera.. i'll be the most happy half asian teenager out there. Thank you for your review! Bluesuitprod: Thank you! we were so lucky with that shot! yes..... doves... beautiful doves.... not disgusting pigeons... but beautiful doves... Noelene Douglas: My ego just crashed the roof and landed on the moon because of your comment about the voice. Thank you! we are 16 years old teenagers and V48 virgins until this year. For our first film ever. we're pretty damn proud of it. we were so passionate about this film and it's great that you realise it. we actually tried to kept out of the "potty humour" don't worry.. you'll be seeing more of the Toasted Wolfgang next year.

This skateboarding road movie had a nice narrative running over it and some of the cinematography was very nice. It was one of those road movies that didn't really end, it was more a slice of what was going on, kind of like 'two lane black top'. It maybe came off as more of a very high class skate video than a traditional film but for a group of first timers this was an excellent effort.
