I know this got second but... I'm not sure why. The acting seemed wooden to me, and the execution was boring. There was nothing inventive or edgy about it. If you're going to make a 48hours film you need to stand out, and this film doesn't. I've already forgotten at the bits I thought I found funny... All I'm left thinking is: "is the weirdo guy in the sweater that weird in real life? Because if he is, that's funny. And, does he have human friends that he talks to?". As I write this, I'm trying to think of something positive to say... and all I can say is that the best acting was by the woman who knocked on the door. Possibly the best acting I've seen in all of the heats I've been to. It's like someone who was hungover was inspired by The Hangover, then decided to write about someone who was hungover. Then when that person struggled with the script, they decided to beat the hangover by drinking while writing, then this happened. It actually felt like the writer had too much confidence and phoned it in. Because there was the start of something, it just needed to be 10 times better. The camerawork gave this film a base. A base that saved the film. If the camerawork was as bad as the acting or the script, you would have all been f%@&ed. #womanatthedoor

This film got second in its heat, and I totally agree with this (my first one was the "one location film"). The plot was funny, and easy to follow (in contrast to other films). Acting was great and funny, except for the occasional "overacting". Film and sound quality were by leaps and bounds the best of all films in that heat, which sold it to me. What is a film worth if you can't hear what is being said at all? Great job, Team Cinnamon!

This film was slightly above average and might sneak into the Auckland final if they are lucky. The dude off MKR tries his best and almost pulls off a few funny lines where the other guy is a bit like a fish out of water. Filming and sound were probably the best of the night. When I saw the bar scenes I thought this would be epic but script went downhill from there.....

Well shot and good sound execution. Neat story and some strong performances.
