A disenfranchised scientist has little time to stop the universe turning triangular. This film took the (very effective in this case) Pacific Rim approach of taking the end of the world as a given and diving into the action. The hero's (over)acting was perfect for the tone of this film, and the foreboding triangle transformations were great subtle touches. I liked the humor in this film and that it didn't take itself too seriously. Some of the early scenes of dialogue were a little slow-paced, and came off quite improvised.

One of my favourites of the heat. The ham acting was great, in particular from the lead and from his main scientist adversary. Lots of laughs from the silly circle-to-triangle concept, with the unabashed highlight being when the moon turned triangle. The climactic scene on the beach capped off the humour in ludicrous 48HOURS fashion. A film that was obviously fun to make and fun to watch - nailing the spirit of the competition.

The humour and acting in this film was great. A lot of teenagers seemed to take a dramatic approach to 48 hours, i enjoyed the humorous approach. Some issues with exposure.
