Great makeup costumes and special effects in this film, though the concept has kind of been done before and done much better eg. in a great feature called Existenz. I think it would have been better without the ending where they all come out of a virtual reality game, it kind of ruined it for me unfortunately.

Frankenstein style black and white concept was a great idea but the "oh its was just a dream" type story was all too common. Good use of props and cheesy actions made me laugh.

Some cool costumes in this movie. Playing a game, monsters kidnap a girl and she manages to free herself. Turns out it was the new atari game. Didn't really push the genre but not a bad film.

Video: 2.5/5 (quite a few b/w films this year, this one didn't manage to detract from the story) Audio: 2/5 Story: 1/5 (it was all a dream - scenario was a risky move to be honest! risk-takers we applaud you!) Overall: 2/5 Some few comedic points here and there, especially the "Ah... coffee" line, which had the audiences laughing at the awkward punchline. Nonetheless, the story ended with a drawback.. making everything they had going for them useless. The monster frankenstein-esque aesthetic was such a waste.. Personally, I was truly disappointed with the ending :( Loved the visually pleasing costume work with some characters. Camera work was creative and unique. But story wins all. Better luck next time fellas.

Makeup heavy nod to the old Monster Squad looked great in black and white. Cheesy ending was a great way to show the actors under the mask.
