God, I so wanted to like it as much as 'Headshot', buuuuuut....not so much this year. It's not to say it was a bad film, it was still well made, well acted and well scripted, but it just didn't tie up the story as neatly as last years film. In fact, the ending, although funny, seemed just to come out of nowhere, as if the team weren't sure how to wrap it up. Once again, like Hybrid getting Inspirational, Romantic comedy isn't a genre I would wish on anyone, so well done with a tough draw.

Didn't quite nail it like they have in previous years unfortunately. Enjoyed the gags and the end reveal was hilarious but it wasn't enough of a conclusion. If the setup had been shorter it would've worked great as good punchline to a joke, but it didn't really work as an end to the story it felt like it was building up to. I love the performances from these guys every year... such great comedic timing. It was a really good short overall, it's just that these guys have continually proved themselves to be the best of the best of the competition and this year didn't quite feel up to their usual high standard.

I actually enjoyed this short better than last years as I don't really do fart jokes! Well made and acted as always a tough act to follow.

Extremely entertaining short. I don't know if you guys are professionals but your movie was ready to air. I would have tried to make your ending a little less obvious, still, it made me laugh and in the audience, everybody was shocked, so it worked. Also, your team intro was so simple and yet so amusing.

Sorry didn't find this orginal, bit like eagle verse shark

The intro was brilliant in it's simplicity! Was the short as great as their previous work? ... No. But it was still a very entertaining and as always a well performed piece. Toby was his usual hilarious self who made the most of every moment he was given. But the story itself just seemed to be missing a few scenes here and there which held it back a bit. Most definitely did it deserve it's top 3 placement in the audience favorite ... but does it have the legs to carry it to the finals this year ... this reviewer isn't sure but hopefully based on the performances alone it does.

Hilarious as always, seriously funny group of people that are smart enough to play to their strengths. Loved the musical montage song, also the believable guy banter and quite possibly the best use of the compulsory dialogue we'll see this year. Can't really fault this except to say Confessions of a Fabricator still wears the idiotVision heavyweight championship belt.

Easily my favourite in Heat 11! You can't fault this film. The production and more importantly the story in which you developed your characters, is probably the best I've seen in the 48. Nice twist mixed with some brilliant acting. You will see this film in the finals for sure.

After watching 'Love Story Sessions' it's clear that Simon Ward has firmly cemented his place as one of the absolute finest actors in the entire 48hours competition. Genuinely delightful short, pitch-perfect performances all around, great warm humour, unexpected twist, and I think it was actually much better than last year's short. Excellent work.
