Sail Away

I really liked some of the imagery in this film. However, I'm not sure I understood all the focus pulls (that looked really cool, honestly!! they did) to establish the workshop where the main character worked. Looked cool, but potentially it was time that could of spent elsewhere developing more of the characters. Overall I liked what you guys were going for. . .I was just a bit confused as to the metaphor of the leaf ship. .. Other than the obvious connection to the name of the film. Anyway, was a beautifully made film with lots of nice imagery :). Go heat 12!

Belief

Good work getting number 1! Even though it was a horror (it was a horror right?) I enjoyed it. I liked that it didn't take itself too seriously. I did wonder on what pretense a serial killer would go to a therapist for his "failures". . but I was probably the only one confused by that.

Bananas Up

Hello Waipu Crew! I voted for your film. I enjoyed the cuteness of it. I remember laughing at one point where the main character had like three pineapples in her little shopping basket :). Poor thing :(. Funny concepts like this always make me curious about how these ideas develop on the Friday. . . Anyway, it was a fun watch. Good job.
