Closing in Five

Slick and polished. Technically awesome. Undead Bus, you should know you've won our team over as fans/aspiring filmmakers ever since we saw your 70s cop show intro (with a car flip!) in 2010. As for the actual film: The acting! Acting is very hard to get right, especially when there's no action / technical fuckups to distract the audience. Your team nailed it. The story was good, although I was expecting more at the end. This film was delightful eye-candy. Mmm.

Jump Start

LOVED this film. So hilarious, brilliant acting, amazing story. A few minor tech issues here and there but didn't detract from it being a particularly enjoyable film. Unsure about how it adhered to the "thriller" part of the genre but who am I kidding, I don't really care. Cheers for the awesome film.

I am going to assume this is by Rabies Babies. Guys. Your film was mind-blowing. Amazing incorporation of prop. Bobby Young was completely hilarious. Definite contender for Dunedin champ. Possible grand final contender (even though it is much, much too early to say). Respect.

Travellin Boozeman

Ugh, I'm so torn with this film. On one hand it is beautiful. And I mean b e a u t i f u l. I could only dream of perfecting shots like that in 48s. On the other hand it almost did away with the musical genre, which is a real shame. Staying true to the genre is number one on the "Things to make sure we get right"! I also felt that the story was lacking, and when the audio from the actual scene did come in, it was pretty bad. But so pretty
