Celebrating our STUDIOCANAL Community Love Teams!

The Vista Foundation 48Hours team loved seeing all the creativity and innovation the competition has sparked this year. We want to give a big shout out to all the charities and community groups that participated, thanks to STUDIOCANAL Community Love:

Wildaval Productions (Tauranga), Teapot Valley Christian Camp (Nelson), Questionable Research Labs (Whangārei), Inclusive Performance Academy (Christchurch), Black Creatives Aotearoa (Auckland), Ūkaipō Whangārei (Whangārei), Nayland College (Nelson).

Take a look at how Nelson’s Teapot Christian Camp “jumped in boots and all” and how the competition “sparked the curiosity in many of these young people in where this art form could take them”

A highlight for Tauranga’s Wildaval Productions team was meeting new people, making new friends and sharing lots of laughs, as well as gaining some valuable filmmaking experience.

Black Creatives Aotearoa shared that their film was made possible by the support of Auckland’s African community, from locations and cast and crew to catering: “We all felt so much love from our community.”

Thank you to STUDIOCANAL for supporting these talented teams and to every participant who took the leap and made a film. From first-time filmmakers to returning teams, you brought fresh perspectives, new voices and stories shaped by communities across Aotearoa!
