Free Dust Explosions

Had a go at filming my own Dust Explosions against a green screen.

Feel free to use them in your own stuff

Have been using the video copilot Action Essentials 2 explosions for a while but everyone knows what they look like so i thought i would try and make some myself to have a bit of variety

They aren't as good as the action essentials ones but could still be useful

Hope to make more and improve of them in the future.

Let me know any improvements that i could make too if you want.

When i looked back at it on Youtube i noticed that i didn't key out all of the green screen In a few of them. Also the green screen wasn't wide enough so i had to mask some bits out because the dust was going beyond the screen (hope to buy another one so this dosn't happen

Thought i would film it in 720p at 50fps so people could slow them down a bit if they wanted, might film future ones at 1080p

Also I Saved them with transparent backgrounds in after effects and then edited each clip in premiere but the transparency didnt cross over into Youtube, would it be better to just upload the after effects clips to hold on to that transparency ? would that work ?

Thanks

in reply to Dawkward:

Thanks, they could probably work well with some of the other effects elements that are out there.

I was able to add colour grading effects to them as well that gave them a different look.
