So much to love last night. So many awesome shorts. Can't get naked 8bit people out of my head or bleeding boobs or fishes being delivered out of my head.

hey guys - yeah stuff happens.
we're grateful that the organisers were able to change our heat time and day, and also play our film last as we were all travelling back from a shoot that day. We only got into the theatre about 4 short films out from the end of the heats. Its so rewarding to be in the theatre and listening to the audience response. so thank you all!
figured we should start of as friends before hating each other for not winning lol!
but honestly - its been a while since i've meet new peeps from 48hours. my favourite bit from the competition way way back - is when a rep from the group has to say something about their film before it played.
Hey guys - theres a bunch of us planning to meet before hand. Probably at the bar besides the chones yum char at sky theatre. Would love to meet some new people. Not sure how it's going to work out. Hoping people will just intro themselves or something.
It would be nice to meet people before the event. Less awkward if someone wins something and you don't think they should lol
Hi all - for those who have watched the heats and have seen the shorts for the Auckland Finalist, I was wondering whether you could provide a rating from G to R18. Might be bringing someone under 10 years. Cheers
I think the genres all make everyone think a little harder as to what to create.
This year was suppose to be the smallest team ever - 4 people - and then we got musical/dance/dance party/rockumentary. When we got our genre - I wanted to just film me eating an apple for 7 mins at that stage coz our composer wasnt available till sat night.
Thanks Jared - good to know. Lots of people ARE asking.
Awe - its lovely to know our film is liked. thanks so much! It was a good night of films, and was great to see the shorts from all the regions. And on big screen at the CIVIC!
