Then that would take away the element of surprise when you sit down and watch the films? The feel I get from V48 is that any thing could happen. Having the heats restricted to R16 would take away those aspiring young-ones.
If you see this as a problem, consider arranging the Heats into age groups. But then that would be disappointing.. I liked knowing the fact that we had a better film than some of the teams that were 20y/o+ and experienced
But that's just my two cents.

We had animated paperclips, kept it simple at 2D, but it was fun nonetheless

So when CAN you upload your film to YouTube? After your heat screenings or after finalists are announced and your team didn't make it?
