So Ant wants teams to take more risks this year. What do you think that looks like?

There's been a call for teams to take some bloody risks this year. I'd be interested to know what people actually interperet this to mean? Make weirder films? Attempt greater feats?
What do you guys think?

i hope 'more risks" means teams aim to make a film that stands up totally outside of 48hours

so they don't fall back on the excuse that 'this is 48hours, no ones going to mind or notice that our props are low budget and our location isn't fit for purpose'

I also hope it means fewer pro teams doing comedy regardless of the genre they are specifically given.

or actually I really hope more risks means more teams getting disqualified because the film they made didn't fit within 48hours.

the biggest risk you could take would be to not make a short film.

2018- The Marquis de Sade The Monster Movie
2017 - Pandora's Night The Alien Film & Behind The Scenes The At Night Movie
2016 - Every Romance Trailer Ever Rom-Com
2015 - The Intervention Shock Ending
2014 - Steak and Cheese Lies Puzzle/Mystery Film
2013 - Prey: A Tale From The Future Robot/Cyborg/Android Film
2012 - True. Inspirational Film
2011 - The Kids Next Door Revenge Film
2010 - Take 4 Ghost Film

Haha a risk so great you transcend the competition.

The greatest risk of all is making a high budget feature length blockbuster in two days, then getting disqualified for it running over time, and then doing NOTHING with it. Not even putting it in the screening room.

You could make a blockbuster feature made up of five minute sections under alphabetised team names so they all show in a single heat back to back. That'd be an achievement.
